Deaths of the Cuban Army of Liberation 1895-1898

The second part of the book "Yndice Alfabético del Ejército Libertador de Cuba" by Carlos Roloff, Inspector General and Major General of the Cuban Army of Liberation, contains the names and information of those Soldiers who it was possible to determine had died during the War.

dingAdvice to researchers from General Roloff:

The deaths are listed in strict alphabetical order of the first surname, but you should take into account that there may have been spelling errors, and hence you should take the same care as in the main Index before determining that a given individual is not listed. If you do not find the person you seek under the first surname, you should search under the second surname and under the given name, since there may have been confusion during the classification. If you still do not find the individual, you should look under similar sounding letters, such as B and V, C and S, G and J, in case there has occurred a spelling error.

NOTES:

  2. The letter "CH" has been merged into the letter "C" and the letter "LL" has been merged into the letter "L"
  3. Note from the original book: "These deaths are those which have been positively identified, but are not all that occurred during the campaign, since the majority still remain unknown."
